About this exam
The Assam Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination (APSC CCE) is the premier state-level competitive exam for gazetted officer posts in Assam. It fills posts across Assam Civil Service (ACS), Assam Police Service (APS), Assam Finance Service (AFS), Assam Revenue Service, Assam Labour Service, and several other Group-A and Group-B services. The exam consists of three stages: a qualifying Preliminary examination (200 MCQ), a competitive Main examination (six descriptive papers), and a Personality Test / Interview. Successful candidates are posted across Assam's 35 districts and various state secretariat departments.
