About Assam Agricultural University

Assam Agricultural University (AAU) is a State University established in 1969 at Jorhat, Assam. It is the premier institution for agricultural education and research in Northeast India, comprising four constituent colleges: College of Agriculture (Jorhat), College of Veterinary Science (Khanapara, Guwahati), College of Community Science (Jorhat), and College of Fisheries (Raha). AAU coordinates agricultural research through its regional stations and Krishi Vigyan Kendras across the state.
