Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar is a centrally funded Institute of National Importance established in 2006 under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, located in Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region, Assam. It offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. CIT Kokrajhar was established specifically to serve the Bodo tribal region and provide quality technical education to students from the BTR and surrounding NE states. Admissions to B.Tech are through JoSAA/CSAB counselling based on JEE Main scores.
