The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) examination is India's largest central government recruitment exam for graduate-level posts. It fills 14,582+ positions across ministries including Finance, Home, CBI, CAG, CBDT, CBIC, and others. Posts include Income Tax Inspector, Central Excise Inspector, Sub-Inspector CBI, Statistical Investigator, Auditor, UDC, and Tax Assistant. The exam has two tiers: Tier I (objective, qualifying + merit) and Tier II (objective, determines final rank). Candidates from all NE states can apply and be posted in NE region on preference.
